    Brrrring it On! We're Freezin' for a Reason on Saturday, February 22, 2020 to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Colorado! Did you know that Special Olympics Colorado offers sports training and athletic competitions at no cost to nearly 25,000 youth and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout the state! Has 400 Unified Champion Schools that are promoting social inclusion through unified sports and leadership experiences! Will provide 2,000 FREE health screenings this year! Is creating a world of inclusion where ALL people are accepted and respected for who they are. Want to help? Support by joining our team or making a donation to our team or an individual on our team. You'll enjoy an evening of: -- Dinner -- Hear from Captain Ken McKlem, Patrol Special Operation -- Updates about the ACSO Citizens' Academy This month, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Citizens' Academy alumni will learn about the history of the sheriff's office from Captain Ken McKlem. He'll give an in-depth history presentation of the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, which was founded in 1858 with the appointment of the first sheriff E.W. Wynkoop.
