Our GIS staff are dedicated to providing high quality geographic data and services to all residents, guests and employees
of Arapahoe County in a responsible, courteous, and efficient manner.
Our GIS division is responsible for database maintenance, application development, special products and public relations.
Our applications run upon ESRI's suite of GIS software. Recent initiatives have updated our system to ESRI's ArcGIS 9.3.1 release
with all GIS data stored in an enterprise geodatabase (SDE). The geodatabase is located in a SQL Server 2005 database and
allows quick and efficient access to geographic data to all users within the County. The County maintains a variety of geographic
data including land ownership records, transportation networks, facility locations and natural features.
