Information Ambassador
Are you interested in making a difference for your neighbors and your local government?
Arapahoe County is seeking volunteers who are willing to share a few hours each week as ‘Information Ambassadors’ at its Arapahoe
Plaza facility or at the Arapahoe/Douglas Works!workforce center. Volunteers are needed to greet and direct visitors, share helpful information and be a friendly face for
the County.
Citizens visit the Arapahoe Plaza facility to seek public assistance benefits from the Human Services Department, as well
as to get support from the County’s Veterans Service Office, Senior Resources Division, Foster Care Program, and a variety
of District Court programs.
Local job-seekers visit the Arapahoe/Douglas Works! workforce center to access free computers, resources and workshops for a self-directed job search, one-on-one employment counseling,
training assistance, hiring events and much more.
Timeframe: Three to four hours per week on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- Complete a written application and interview
- Pass a background check
- Attend position-specific training
