Elections Judge
Enjoy the excitement of election day and serve your Country as an Election Judge. This is a paid position.
Election Judges are assigned by the Clerk and Recorder to confirm voters' eligibility, provide assistance with forms, activate
voting machines, generally assist voters in casting their votes, pick up and return voting machine cartridges and supplies. Positions
include a Lead Judge, Machine Judge and several Support Judges.
Timeframe: Seasonal; Arrive at the polling place by 6:00 a.m. on Election Day; Stay at the polling place and assist with closing procedures
until completed.
Location: Varies within Arapahoe County
Qualifications:
- Age 18 or older
- A United States citizen
- A Registered Voter in Arapahoe County
- Mentally and physically able to perform the assigned tasks
- Free of any conviction for election fraud, fraud, or any other election offenses
- Not related to any candidate on the ballot
- Complete a written application
- Attend a paid mandatory training class
