Want to save some money on your utilities? How about staying cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter? If you answered yes to either of these questions, the Arapahoe County Weatherization program can help with FREE weatherization services. Apply now to take advantage of these benefits:

Benefits
An energy audit of your home will identify areas where you are losing efficiency, like lack of insulation in walls, attics and crawl spaces; gaps and cracks around plumbing, window and door seals and ductwork joints.

Safety
Weatherization audits are a critical safety measure to ensure appliances are functioning and drafting/ventilating properly.

$$ Savings
Repairs and replacements of appliances to energy efficient standards saves families an average of $330 annually.

  • Owner-occupied households and renter households, with landlord approval; homes, townhomes and /’manufactured (mobile) homes.
  • Household incomes at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines (chart 1)
  • Family gross income at or below 80 percent of Adjusted Median Income (chart 2) to take advantage
    of services at this higher income level, household may be required to be an Xcel Energy customer.
