Want to know how to safely operate a food business from a home kitchen? Join Colorado State University on September 21 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

You will learn:
 Basic food safety– including: proper hygiene; preventing cross contamination & cross contact of food allergens; temperature control for safe food preparation, storage, transport & sales
 Which foods are eligible under the Colorado Cottage Food Act
 Ingredient labeling & disclaimer requirements
 Special considerations for food preparation at altitude
 Safe food sampling best practices
Following the training & successful completion of the test, participants will receive a Food Safety Certificate good for 3 years.
