You will learn: Basic food safety– including: proper hygiene; preventing cross contamination & cross contact of food allergens; temperature control for safe food preparation, storage, transport & sales Which foods are eligible under the Colorado Cottage Food Act Ingredient labeling & disclaimer requirements Special considerations for food preparation at altitude Safe food sampling best practicesFollowing the training & successful completion of the test, participants will receive a Food Safety Certificate good for 3 years.
